The rated power of hydro-generator produced by HEC ranges from 0.8MW to 800MW. Sorted by the types of cooling mode, the generators include: stator and rotor cooled by internal water, stator winding cooled by internal water and rotor winding /core cooled by air ,full air cooled ,hydro-generator with forced circulation and ventilation cooling system etc; Sorted by the structures, the generators include: bulb type, vertical hydro-generator, motor-generator etc. At present, HEC has mastered the design and manufacturing technologies of all above mentioned types of hydro-generator, and been carrying out the development of 1000MW class hydro-generator.
